Purdue University Drug Discovery & Health Science Facility | Harrison Garage

Davis & Associates worked in a joint venture on this project endeavor.  This facility is a 65,652 SF building on four (4) floors, basement, and roof penthouse.  The new facility provides state-of-the-art chemistry research space.

The Health & Human Sciences Research Facility is 119,854 SF on 4 floors with basement. The new facility provides an atmosphere that supports the education and research goals for the College of Health & Human Sciences; IU School of Medicine Speech & Hearing Sciences; Nursing; Nutrition Sciences; Health and Kinesiology Psychology.

The Harrison Street Parking Garage is 283,888 SF on six (6) tiers. The new garage will provide public parking for approximately 850 vehicles.

IU Simon Cancer Center

Davis & Associates completed the general trades package for the construction of this $107 million dollar, 5-story cancer hospital. With leading medical research, this IU facility is attached to the current hospital. The general trades package included: general conditions, rough carpentry, doors, frames & hardware, automated doors, coiling grilles and division 10 specialties.

Davis & Associates was responsible for the management and coordination of over 25 subcontractors, suppliers, and part of the partnership team’s workforce.

Eskenazi Health

The new Eskenazi Health $754M project replaced the old Wishard Hospital located in Indianapolis, IN. This state-of–the art hospital is a leading health care provider in central Indiana.

Davis & Associates was one of the general contractors on this multi-million dollar health care project, completing the general conditions, and the hardscape/landscape bid packages.  In addition, Davis & Associates completed the specialties bid package for the Facilities Operations Building located on its’ campus.

Eskenazi Health offers a wide range of services at their Campus featuring approximately 1.2 million square feet of facilities, including a 327-bed inpatient hospital, 18 operating rooms and four interventional labs, 12 labor and delivery rooms, a 110-bed treatment room emergency department with a 20-bed clinical decision unit and an ambulatory clinic with more than 200 exam rooms. A faculty and research facility housing offices for Eskenazi Health’s physicians, 99 percent of whom are on the IU School of Medicine Faculty, as well as administrative offices and research areas.

The campus includes an apprTOO LOW RES Eskenazi interior 2(1)oximately 2,700-car parking garage, central engineering facilities for utility services and open spaces including a patient garden, an open public space plaza called Eskenazi Health Place and healing gardens.
